The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) recommend all baby monitor cords have a warning label reminding parents and caregivers to place them more than 3ft out of baby’s reach. In cooperation
with the CPSC and JPMA we urge you to review the public Safety Alert and the Safe and Sound Zone video for more information.
If your baby monitor does not have the warning label or you need a replacement warning label please fill out this form and we will supply you with a new label, free of charge.
To keep your baby safe, immediately check the location of all monitors and other products with cords, including those mounted on the wall, to make sure cords are out of your child’s reach. Place your monitor/camera, and other cords, at least 3ft away
from any part of the crib, bassinet, play yard, or other safe sleep environment. Never position a baby monitor camera inside or on the edge of a crib.
